Who can trial?
We usually welcome swimmers working around late Stage 5 or Stage 6 who are ready to progress from lessons into club swimming.

Meet our coaches, experience club swimming and find the squad where you can thrive. There is no charge and no obligation to join.
Where?
Trials normally take place at Burnham Swim and Sports Academy pool. We will confirm the right session before your first visit.
What to bring
Bring normal swimwear, goggles and a drink. We provide everything else needed for the session.
A quick response
We normally respond within 24 hours to discuss experience and arrange the most suitable trial session.
What happens next?

Tell us about the swimmer
Complete the form with their age, lesson stage and recent swimming experience.

We arrange three sessions
A coach places the swimmer in an appropriate group so they can enjoy a realistic introduction to AST.
- 3
Receive a squad recommendation
After the trial, the coach recommends the best squad and, where a place is available, we send a membership invitation.
