Academy Swim Team Burnham-on-Sea is a local swimming club and registered charity supporting young swimmers from Burnham-on-Sea, Highbridge, and the surrounding area. We provide a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment where children and young people can develop their swimming, make friends, and represent their club.

As a registered charity, we rely on membership fees, volunteers, fundraising, sponsorship, and donations to keep the club thriving. Every contribution, large or small, helps us continue providing opportunities for local swimmers.

Fundraising In Action

Our community rises to every challenge

This September, some AST swimmers are taking part in Sport Relief’s Big Swim. The club is not affiliated with the challenge — we simply provide a progress board for members who want to share their distance and fundraising links. Previous fundraising has also included a continuous team swim and a stationary-bike challenge. Events like these bring swimmers, families, volunteers, and local supporters together.
